I moved to Sligo four years ago with my partner and our two children, and we instantly fell in love with this community and the wild, rugged beauty of the West of Ireland.
My journey to the kitchen hasn’t been a straight line — it’s been a unique adventure. I spent the first chapter of my professional life as a biologist, followed by several years as a primary school teacher, both in France and right here in Sligo.
A Lifelong Passion for Plants
I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years. For me, the kitchen has always been a laboratory of exploration. I’ve spent decades testing and refining recipes in my daily life as a woman and a mother, always searching for that elusive, perfect balance of health and flavor.
To turn this lifelong passion into a professional career, I returned to my roots in Brittany, France. There, I underwent formal training in Vegetarian Culinary Arts, blending my scientific understanding of ingredients with professional French cooking techniques.
